GENERAL BACKGROUND:
INNSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION AND CAPACITY BUYILDING: ( from bilateral agreement)
The envisaged personnel to be trained may be as follows
- Technicians from each district within Faryab Province and engineers from PRRD Faryab. Furthermore, engineers from other provinces of the northern region would be provided.
- Participants from MRRD RuWatSip Department and NSP
- Engineers from other ministries (i.e. Ministry of Mines and Industry)
- Representatives from NGOs not directly involved in the Programme
Furthermore, the following indicators are envisaged (in the long-term perspective): - Content and management of future projects and programs will be much more efficient due to knowledge gained on this Project.
- Consolidation and improvement of existing MIS/GIS system within MRRD for
information dissemination on groundwater resources in Faryab Province to relevant
stakeholder organisations for knowledge and future planning purposes.
