- Developed database for Hydrogeological survey with software and hardware based on WSG framework.
- Hydrogeological surveys in Faryab for selected sites/ settlements/aquifers
- Implemented test exploratory drilling in Faryab ( tentatively 12 sites)
- Designed and documented close to 25 training courses for replication.
Capacity building
- Developed and prepared training borehole in MRRD/ RuWatSIP
- Organising and implementing about 50 short training
- Training between 200 to 400 persons
- Render project sustainable and replicable to other provinces
Institutional development
- Established documentation handling for methods for scaling up HGS nationwide
- Support establishment of GIS-MIS facilities in RuWatSIP, MRRD
- Implement training courses.
- Enhance coordination with MEW, MRRD, Kabul University and training institutions, Key NGOs and UN (UNICEF)
- Strengthen links between government org, and training institutions
